Thom feelings have changed because he feels that the people he hangs around.Wont except for who he is.
Thom's emotions changed eversince he was in the feild day because he was made about the galaxy twins and when his dad came in he ended up being scared of him. I think Thom's dad instigated his emotions because when he found out Thom's in the league Thom got scared but when he threatened he felt evenmore scared and the league started instigating.
Thom's feeling changed from page 186-199 by him feeling hopeless and excited to nervous and angry.
In Chapter thirteen Thom feels hopeless because the Galaxy Twins are beating his team in the outdoor competition. The Galaxy Twins were cheating in the challenges, so Thom team lost hope and confidence in winning. So Thom felt hopeless.
Later on, Thom pulled through in the last challenge. By pulling through Thom felt excited because he did great by beating the Galaxy Twin at their own game. It also felt he gained respect from Uberman and the rest of the league.
Thom then started to feel nervous because his dad had caught him. He also felt nervous because his team, the league, and everybody else was watching his dad embarassing him. I think this was a big change in Thom's emotional rollercoaster because feeling nervous in this situation felt really awkward and uncomfortable.
After leaving the competition in embarassment and anger, Thom ran home. At home, Thom came over a sense of hatred towards his dad after seen torn and crumbled pictures of him and his mother. Under serious rage, Thom gets back at his dad by putting tomato sauce all over his dad's costumes and outfits. I think did this to express his anger and frustration on something besides people.
To conclude, I think throughout the two chapters Thom felt hopeless, excited, nervous, and angry.
Thom's emotions had changed from regular to ashamred, sad, enraged. He in the beginning was sort of confused but now he is outraged at what his dad did. The feelings that emerged are angry.
And outraged and frustrated and mad all at once. What instigate this emotional roller caoster was Thom's dad. Because Thom's dad stormed in on him at tryouts.
His dad dragged him to get out his dad almost punched him his dad hurt his chances at being in the league.
At the begging of 186 thom was happy and feeling like he could do anything like nobody could stop him. When he was playing capture the flag he felt like a champion because while every body was out he was the only one in and he put his team back in the running with the others. At the end of the chapter we have read that thoms dad showed up right before he put the flag in the hole. when his dad grabbed him all of his good feelings went away , he was felling like jell-o .his dad instigated his emotional rollercoaster because he went from super good and awesome to a load of crap in 5 seconds. if his dad hadn’t done what he did his feelings would not have changed.
Thoms emotions have changed because before he was happy but now he feels weird.He wants to tell his dad that he is gay but is scared that his dad will not be proud of him.His dad wants to keep on the creed name but if thom is gay he wont be able to have a child if he wants.He might have to adopt.He wants to tell his dad all of his secrets but is scared that his dad will be disapointed.When thom had his first kiss he did it with a complete stranger.I think he might regret it for that reason and now his feeling are maybe sad or mad.I think he should of done it with someone who he likes not a stranger.His feelings might be all over the place and he does not know how he feels right now.Thom problay needs time to him self to see how he is feeling,then he can go tell who ever he wants about his feelings.
