Chapter Fifteen
How do you feel about Thom’s first kiss? Do you think it will be a “special” memory for Thom? Or, do you think it was forced and he will regret it?
It was mentioned twice that Thom and Simon seemed “familiar” to one another. Do you think they know each other? If so, how?

Chapter Sixteen
Ruth says on page 211, “I’m not talking about that. That’s not a choice. Don’t listen to the bigots or the zealots; you like what you like.” What is Ruth telling Thom? Do you think that homosexuality is a choice?
Why is Ruth such a great friend to Thom?

Why is Ruth such a great friend to Thom?
Ruth's such a great friend because of her power. She knows about your life so, you can't hold out on her. Her and Thom kinda have the same problems in life. Thom said colored back then is like faggot now. Ruth had a relationship with a color man. If Thom says something to Ruth she won't be shocked she's been through a lot in life.

I think Thom might regret it because he just met the guy and he didn't even talk to the person. He just did it without thinking first. He might remember it but won't tell anybody. He might kiss someone else and tell them its his first kiss. He might want to do it again but with another person and they might be special to him. He might want to tell someone.
I say Ruth is telling Thom that he can change the fact that he is gay. I do think homosexuality is a choice but it takes time like you don't wake up one morning and say "Well I want to be gay now." It takes time. Ruth is a good friend to Thom because she can fell almost the same pain as Thom. He can do more then just heal like knock them out and fell their pain. They both are alone. He might find that him and Scarlet have things in common. She could be very, very sick and Thom can heal her.
Chapter 15: I feel like it won't be special. I feel like that since he did it with a stranger. I don't think it was first since Simon didn't kiss Thom, Thom kissed Simon. Thom seemed kind of angry when Simon pushed him away. He will regret it since it was with someone he doesn't know. I also feel like Dark Hero is always around when he is doing something gay like at the gay bar.
Thoms firts kiss wont be special th a because it was with a stranger.After he kissed Simon he pushed him away and Thom seemed angry. I think they dont know eachother. I think darkhero is following Thom to protect him. no . I dont know who dark hero is.
15: I still think Dark Hero is Thom father because in Chapter 15 it read that he paced back and forth like Thom dad at his angriest. And Thom dad wants his son to be the perfect son he dreamed of. Already knowingg that Thom is gay. Also I think Dark Hero did witnessed Thom first kiss my evidence is why would Dark Hero be pacing back and forth by that therefore Dark Hero could have been either standing looking at Simon and John (aka Thom) thriugh the rear window standing on a rooftop watching, waiting to see if Thom was going to get out.
16: So far we learned that Thom can do more than heal people in the S.T.A. (Stimulated Training Area) Thom found out that he can see in poeple heads to see if somebody needs healing. I think Thom has more powers but he doesn't know it yet he just have to go experiment. I predict that in Chapter 17 it probably going to take place at the League headquarters in the STA to test team some more about their powers.
