Hey students,
I'm trying to read your blog and get your input on the character and your progress reading this story, but I don't see that anyone has commented. What are your predictions? Which challenges does your protagonist face and how does he deal with them? Are these challenges similar to your own experiences? If they are, then how have you overcome them (if you have overcome them) or how are you working through them? I'd love to get your thoughts!

he thinks he has super powers and he is seeing what his body is doing.The protaganist is thom creed.His problems are he is gay and he thinks he has super powers.
we found out that his dad is a super hero and hero plays basket ball.i face problems like this because i be my self and people dont like that
He will become a hero like his dad but have a boyfriend . hes gay and not that popular. i dont know yet how he daels with them. these or NOT LIKE ANY of the porpbumls im facing because im NOT gay.

A time you came across someone that someone that was different from ?
One time in school I meet someone who was bisexual. I didn’t judge them by what they told me I just got to know them and she turned to me one of my friend.
Segregation when white and black people couldn’t be friends and they couldn’t talk because people thought that it was wrong
we learned that his dad is a superhero and he plays basketball. he catches seizures.i dont have any relation with thom
I think that Thom is the protagonist in the story because he helps Goran when he knows for a fact that Goran hates him.
We find out about Thom's last time meeting Goran. A famous basketball player kicks Goran in the back of the leg.
So far in the book i learned that the main character Thom Creed is gay and plays basketball. His father is a crime fighter and his house has been robbed. A person he met was also injured during a basketball game.
Thom is a teenager who is struggling to cope with his identity. He is gay, but does not feel comfortable being out in the open about his sexual orientation. He even feels afraid to tell his own father for fear that his father will judge him or disapprove of him. Thom plays on a basketball team where he cooperates with other boys his own age, but he feels very different and distant from them. I think that most teenagers, including myself (when I was in high school at least) share the common challenge of trying to figure out or cope with who you are as a person. I remember when I was in high school, there were so many different styles of dress- I didn't want to conform to what was popular but I also didn't want to feel distant from my classmates. It took a while for me to feel comfortable with myself and be able to wear whatever I wanted to, not having to worry about what others thought about me.
thoms problems are that nobody accepts gay people and thoms gay.
What we learned about thom is that he plays basketball. He has a father and we dont know about he's father. Also his father is crimefighter and he's homosexual. He knows this kid named Goran and Goran plays basketball.
